     Sound Bath

What is a Sound Bath? 

A sound bath is a group meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in
warm, welcoming sound waves. There is no water involved, only sound waves! These waves
are produced by various healing instruments such as gongs, Himalayan bowls, percussion,
chimes, and even the human voice itself.

 

During the sound bath, participants lie on their backs (sometimes referred to as the Savasana
position in yoga) for the entire experience. The intention of these sessions is to provide a safe
space for you to deeply relax and let go, bringing peace and harmony to your mind and body.

What are the Benefits of a Sound Bath? 

​There are many health and well-being benefits that can be achieved from spending time in deep relaxation, including: reduced heart rate and blood pressure, relief from stress and anxiety, reduction in muscle tension and physical pain, as well as an increased sense of well-being and a boost in mood.


Online Sound Baths: Infused with Love

A virtual immersive experience using resonant sounds, I play with the drum and Himalayan bowls together with my voice to induce deep relaxation, stress reduction, and a meditative state. How to best experience an online sound bath:
 

  • Prepare your space: Lie down comfortably with a pillow and blanket to make sure you
    are warm, as your body temperature will drop as you relax during the session.
     

  • Speaker: Use a Bluetooth speaker connected to your phone or laptop to get the deepest
    benefits. Alternatively, you can use quality headphones, or even Alexa.
     

  • Engage your senses: Focus on the resonant sounds, allow your body to relax, and let
    go of any tension or thoughts that arise.

With online sound baths available, many of my clients who previously enjoyed sound baths in person now prefer the online sound baths in the comfort of their own home, instead of having to drive. Doing it online allows you to make your own "divine space" for the session with lit candles, dim lighting, your favorite essential oils, and whatever else will make you feel at ease. After the online session, I encourage you to take an Epsom salt bath, journal in a comfortable space, or just lie where you are and enjoy the beauty of the integration from the session.
